Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome

LUISS Guido Carli is a private, independent university.

LUISS stands for Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali, that is Free International University for Social Studies.
In 1994, the University changed its name to LUISS Guido Carli, in the memory of its former President, Guido Carli.

The University is divided into the following seven departments: Dpt. of  Accounting and Corporate Finance, Dpt. of AI, Data and Decision Sciences, Dpt. of Business and Economic Law, Dpt. of Business and Management, Dpt. of Economics and Financial Markets, Dpt. of Law and Institutions, Dpt. of Political Science.

The university has four postgraduate schools: LUISS Business School, LUISS School of Government, LUISS School of Law, Luiss School of Journalism.

In 2007, LUISS opened a new campus, in viale Romania 32.
